Le Chocolate est un festival de musique électronique qui prend vie le temps d'un weekend entre les Pyramides de Vidy, au bord du lac Léman. La ville de Lausanne ne pouvait offrir un plus bel écrin au meilleur de la musique électronique suisse.
D'année en année le festival attire un public toujours plus large, n’hésitant pas à venir de Suisse alémanique, de France ou d'Italie.
Durant l'après-midi, le festival est gratuit et accessible à toute personne ayant envie de passer une après-midi de détente au bord du lac, dans une ambiance musicale. En soirée, le public amateur de musique électronique et de clubbing se rassemble devant la scène afin d'apprécier les performances des artistes invités.
Lors de l'édition 2010, près de 2’400 personnes ont profité de cet événement exceptionnel, confirmant la bonne santé de ce dernier et l'engouement grandissant du public à son égard.
Le Chocolate a offert au public des moments inoubliables, avec la présence d’artistes tels qu’Anja Schneider, boss du label Mobilee, habituée à se produire dans les plus grands clubs mondiaux et Mark Henning, élu révélation de l'année 2009 par DJ mag, pour ne citer que les plus connus !
The Chocolate is an electronic music festival that comes to life one weekend a year nestled between the Pyramids of Vidy, on the edge of the lake Léman. The town of Lausanne could not offer a more beautiful jewel than this location to showcase some of the best Djs around.
Year after year the festival attracts an increasingly larger audience of electronic music lovers who do not hesitate to travel from not only German-speaking Switzerland, but also from France, Italy and Germany.
During the warm afternoon, the festival is free and accessible open to people who simply want to relax by the lakeside, soaking in extraordinary live acts and Djs while sipping on a cocktail. By the end of the evening, serious clubbers gather eagerly in front of the scene, and the sun-tanning gives way to serious dance floor grooving!
Once the coolness of the night sets in we move the party indoors to a cosy club location to continue enjoying the amazing sets of our artists until the early hours of the morning is announced by the rising sun.
In 2010, close to 2'400 people attended this extraordinary event, confirming a growing passion for the unforgettable moments that The Chocolate offered by showcasing world-class artists such as Anja Schneider, boss of the label Mobilee, and Mark Henning who was elected the revelation of 2009 by DJ Mag (to quote one of his many accomplishments).
